Hello, my name is Edgar Torres. My past begins in Central America where my parents met. They fell in love and had a blond hair baby boy. I vaguely remember El Salvador because I left when I was four years old with my mother to the the United States. My father was already there waiting for us to start our new lives in America. I remember the first American thing I ate was good old McDonald's. I started attending school, learned English and growing up my parents gave me two younger brothers. I lived in VA for 22 years.
Now I have been living in CA for about 6 years. I'm married to a wonderful woman and we have an amazing dog. My youngest brother is living with me now because I promised my parents I raise him if they ever needed help. We recently bought a home and we are excited that we have become home owners. I'm currently attending Oxnard college to get the necessary credits to enter their excellent Dental Hygiene program. This semester is my last until I apply to the program and I'm looking forward to start.
What I see in my future is hopefully become successful in my career. Help my brother graduate high school and help him attend college. I want to help my wife anyway I can to be successful in her career since she encouraged me to return to school I want to make her proud of me as well as my family. I hope to help my family and repay them for all their hard work they sacrificed for me.
